That’s probably all I should say about it, but c’mon. Best parenting books ever? I mean, it’s great and I’m really proud of it, but my first thought when I was notified about this was, “nice scam.”
So, I did some digging.
Happy to report, it’s not a scam! I didn’t pay anything to be featured and it’s a reputable and known group in the publishing world. Book Authority uses Amazon sales and reviews as part of an algorithm to create these lists in many categories. They hope you buy the books via their website – Amazon pays them from sales for driving traffic.
Anyway, I’m excited that after more than a year since publication that “The World’s Worst Diabetes Mom: Real Life Stories of Parenting a Child With Type 1 Diabetes” is still making a difference. I continue to get incredible messages from parents about how much this book means to them. I’m staggered by the Amazon reviews that keep coming in. What a humbling and incredible experience
